Ortus Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 or Year 3 Class Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Brent, North West London.

The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary national curriculum.
- Take responsibility for teaching a Year 2 or Year 3 class.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
- Assess learning and adapt lessons to meet pupils’ individual needs.
- Maintain positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom.
- Create an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and school leadership.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
- The ability to motivate and engage primary-aged pupils.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A flexible, reliable and proactive approach.
Experienced Primary Teachers and suitable Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Pay: £145–£185 per day PAYE, depending on experience
