We are working with a welcoming school in Feltham that is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide high-quality support to pupils with additional needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
- Support pupils with their learning, communication and development
- Help manage and promote positive behaviour
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Support pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Patient, caring and enthusiastic
- Confident supporting children with additional needs
- Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations
- A strong communicator and team player
- Passionate about helping children reach their potential
- Previous SEN or Teaching Assistant experience is desirable but not essential
