Ortus Recruitment is recruiting Teaching Assistants for primary schools across the London Borough of Wandsworth, with immediate starts available.

We are looking for enthusiastic, patient and dedicated individuals to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The role and responsibilities
- Providing classroom support to primary-aged pupils.
- Delivering tailored one-to-one and small-group support.
- Assisting children with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Encouraging pupils’ confidence, engagement and positive behaviour.
- Working collaboratively with teachers to support pupils’ academic and personal development.
What were looking for
- Experience working with children or young people.
- A background in creative arts, psychology, drama, media, youth work or a related field.
- A patient, reliable and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine interest in education, child development and pupil wellbeing.
