Are you a passionate, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school?
We are currently working with a fantastic primary school in Hammersmith who are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
- Support children with ASC, ADHD, SLCN, SEMH and other SEN needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Assist with classroom activities and daily routines
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be:
- Caring, patient and resilient
- Passionate about supporting children with SEN
- Confident providing 1:1 support
- Able to build strong relationships with pupils
- Reliable and committed to a long-term position
- Experienced working with children with additional needs
- CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable
