A fantastic primary school in Brent is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to become part of a supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning, development and wellbeing of pupils in KS1.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher with classroom activities and lessons
- Working with pupils individually and in small groups
- Providing additional support to pupils who may require extra help with their learning
- Helping to maintain a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with their social and emotional development
- Assisting with classroom preparation and general teaching duties
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils remain engaged in their learning

- Confident working with children in a classroom environment
- A strong communicator and team player
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a school setting is desirable
