Are you a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant with a CACHE Level 3 qualification and a passion for helping young children learn and develop?
Ortus Recruitment is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Acton, Ealing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the right qualifications and experience to support children’s early development, encourage learning through play and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
The Role
Working within an Early Years setting, you will support children during a crucial stage of their educational development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Planning and supporting engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Encouraging children’s communication, language and social development.
- Supporting learning through structured activities and play-based learning.
- Helping children develop independence, confidence and school readiness.
- Supporting children’s personal care and daily routines where required.
- Observing children’s progress and sharing feedback with the class teacher.
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting children with additional needs where necessary.
What We’re Looking For
- A CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in an Early Years, nursery or primary school setting.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A nurturing, patient and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood development.
- Reliability and a commitment to supporting children’s learning.
Candidates with experience as an Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Early Years Teaching Assistant are encouraged to apply, provided they hold the required Level 3 qualification.
