Ortus Recruitment is currently recruiting for Early Years Practitioners to join our partnered mainstream primary school in Kingston, with positions available from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming school environment, supporting young children during a crucial stage of their development.
The Role
We are looking for caring, motivated and experienced practitioners who are passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2–5 years.
The positions are part-time, all year round, with the following shift patterns available:
- Morning shift: 7:30am – 1:00pm
- Afternoon shift: 12:30pm – 6:00pm
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Have experience working with children aged 2–5 years.
- Ideally have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
- Demonstrate a caring, patient and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive learning environment.
