Role Overview
- Position: Classroom Assistant
- Location: Stockwell
- Pay: £93–£110 PAYE per day
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Lead groups in core curriculum activities such as Phonics, Maths, and Writing.
- Prepare resources and maintain areas within the setting.
- Conduct assessments and maintain records.
- Assist with daily routines for children.
- Engage children in learning and play activities indoors and outdoors.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a UK primary school.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (free online training available if needed).
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this role with Ortus Recruitment, you must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Possess an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide references covering the past two years.
