Reception Classroom Assistant | Earlsfield | £93–£110 PAYE | Full Time | November Start
Our partnered primary school based in Earlsfield is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident Classroom Assistant with experience working with children in Reception and a sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Suitable candidates will ideally possess a relevant childcare qualification, safeguarding training and a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification, or a willingness to undertake this training.
The successful candidate will:
- Be focused, with a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and professional standards.
- Support the class teacher in delivering teaching and learning activities within the classroom, including working with small groups or individual pupils.
- Communicate effectively with children and colleagues, follow instructions and work independently when required.
The successful candidate must:
- Be passionate about children’s learning, development and welfare.
- Have knowledge of working with Reception-aged children and experience in a primary school setting.
- Assist with classroom preparation and provide support to both the children and the class teacher.
- Have a good standard of spoken and written English.
- Be committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
