Ortus Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 or Year 3 Class Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Aldgate, Tower Hamlets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, create a positive classroom environment and help pupils achieve their full potential.
The Opportunity
- Teach a Year 2 or Year 3 primary class.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and high expectations.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Encourage confidence, independence and active participation.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
- The ability to motivate and engage pupils of different abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A reliable, proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
Experienced Primary Teachers and suitable Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Pay: £145–£185 per day PAYE, depending on experience
