Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education?
We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Mill Hill area that is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils who need additional help to access learning and reach their full potential. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 support to pupils who require additional assistance.
- Working with small groups of lower-attaining pupils to reinforce learning and build confidence.
- Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and learning tasks.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a mainstream school setting.
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or lower academic attainment.
- Is patient, caring, proactive and enthusiastic about helping children succeed.
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Is available to work full-time and can start immediately.
