A friendly and inclusive primary school in Colindale is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
The successful candidate will support pupils with Special Educational Needs, including providing 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with learning and helping pupils develop their confidence and independence.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- A patient, nurturing and supportive approach
- Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
- Experience supporting ASC, ADHD, SEMH or SLCN is desirable
- Previous primary school experience is desirable
- CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent is advantageous
