Behaviour Mentor – Hammersmith

Location: Hammersmith, West London
Pay: £93–£105 per day PAYE
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Start: ASAP

Ortus Recruitment are seeking a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support pupils at a school in Hammersmith.

This role would suit someone who has experience working with children who display challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional needs and is looking to make a genuine difference in a school environment.

The Role

• Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
• Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Develop positive relationships with pupils
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
• Support pupils with emotional regulation
• Work alongside teachers and SEN professionals
• Help create a calm and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience in behaviour, SEN, education, care or youth work
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication skills
• Confident managing challenging behaviour
• Sports, coaching or mentoring experience is desirable
